Characteristics Of Success For Home Business Owners 3: High Energy

Welcome back, it's always a pleasure to have you. There is lots of content out there, thanks for coming back to check mine out. I appreciate you! =D

To continue my discussion on Characteristics of Success in Home Business I’ll write of having “high energy”.

Everything in the Universe is one thing, and that one thing is energy.  If I want a lot of anything that means I’ll have to give a lot of energy.  Lots of money IS lots of energy.  Since we only get what we give, it stands to reason that to be reciprocated with piles of cash we will have to give piles of energy in return, or rather, up front.

Take a look at Donald Trump.  Does he have gobs of energy?  You bet he does.  It rolls off of him and affects everyone within 30 feet.  He puts showbusiness into real estate in a spectacular and energetic fashion and has realized tremendous success as a result.

How to build and maintain energy:

  1. Exercise
  2. Proper nutrition
  3. Positive focus
  4. Proper sleep

What kind of exercise?  I spend 30 mins every morning jogging and sprinting.  Quick bursts of running help build great stamina, even more so than long, moderate-speed jogging.  I also do kung fu on my breaks and sometimes in the morning.  You can do Yoga, Qi Gong, and host of other exercises.  Wanna get really rich?  Start challenging yourself physically and you’ll be stoked by the results.

Nutrition.  Seek a professional nutritionist.  I prefer a mostly raw-foods approach which is heavy in fruits and vegetables and very low in animal flesh.  I start each day with a rad smoothie filled with soy milk, banana, frozen blueberries, mango, and organic non-flavoured yoghurt.  My lunch is usually a raw salad with lovely broccolis and mushrooms + other raw veggies.

When I start my day with healthy, awesome food, the tendency is to continue to eat awesome for the rest of the day.

Positive focus.  I covered this in my previous post, read it here.

Proper sleep.  Poor sleeping habits will destroy your energy.  Depriving yourself of sleep does nothing whatsoever to support you.  It damages your brain.  It strangles your motivation, focus, and energy.

How do you keep it up?  Your energy that is, your energy. ;-P
