Veterans served the United States selflessly to ensure that every person in the country continues to be free from oppression and tyranny. Sadly, once they have given their service to the country, veterans often find that they are not supported by those who are elected to serve the same nation and the principles they fought so hard to protect.
This is where the Coalition for American Veterans tries to make a difference. The Coalition for American Veterans was founded in 2017 with three core principles in mind.
The first goal of the organization is to build a grassroots base of support to stand up for veteran’s rights and ensure that elected officials protect veterans of the United States from all generations.
The second goal of the organization is to rally behind candidates who are supportive of veterans’ rights while also providing public awareness to keep candidates out of office who aren’t supportive of veterans.
The third goal of the organization is to provide support for veteran candidates who wish to continue serving the United States at all levels of government as elected officials.
Ensuring that the rights of veterans are protected is crucial to the future well-being of the nation. In both the past and present, veterans have often been overlooked and forgotten after completing their time of service. The Coalition for American Veterans strives to make the citizens of the United States more aware of the issues many veterans face after their time of service by supporting candidates who share the same goal of protecting the rights of veterans and their families.
While the mission of the Coalition for American Veterans may not be as dangerous as those missions carried out by our veterans, it must be successful in ensuring that all veterans know they are protected by the liberties they fought so hard to defend.
